Senior Product Marketing Manager

As our Sr. Product Marketing Manager on the Developer Workflow Team you will build and own all PMM functions, from messaging to positioning to use cases and customer stories. This is a unique role for a marketing leader who loves to build new things, figuring out puzzles and planning for scale.

Youโ€™ll be empowered with a dedicated budget, the support of the LinearB co-founders and other leads from Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams. As the primary voice of gitStream, you will split your time between creating successful strategies and tactical execution. As a leader on the marketing team at LinearB you will ensure that all of our outbound efforts are aligned with company goals.

What You'll Do

  • User Stories: Our users love gitStream. Engineering leaders around the globe are already using the tool to improve a major pain in their organization. Problem is, no one is telling their stories. You will lead an initiative to put gitStream users on a pedestal in front of the developer community.
  • Use Cases: You know a product is special when your users create unique use cases that the product team hadnโ€™t thought of yet. This is the case with gitStream. We need you to become an expert on our users and use cases - and then go tell everyone in the world exactly how gitStream is changing how software development happens.
  • Positioning & Content: gitStream is part of our larger Continuous Merge product narrative. Continuous Merge is the next evolution in the CI/CD world. You will manage the creation of content and how we position ourselves in the market. At LinearB content is everyoneโ€™s priority, both the management and tactical execution of it.

Qualifications

  • The developer persona is one that you are uniquely familiar with from past experience.
  • You have experience in driving the successful adoption of a developer tool and scaling the programs that lead to that success.
  • You have an entrepreneurial background with experience building tools, brands and experiences from the ground up
  • You believe customer stories are the gold standard of product content and have created a mechanism to create and distribute them to prospects.
  • You are comfortable and familiar with modern development tools and methodologies
  • You bring dynamic ideas to the table backed with timelines, strategy, budget and goals
  • Successfully leading cross-functional initiatives is in our blood
  • Believes in servant leadership and helping other people be successful
  • Blends creativity with a data-driven, scientific approach to trying new things
