Risks Portfolio Analyst

What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analysis to identify potential risks and evaluate their potential impact on the company's financial performance.
• Implement risk management policies, procedures, and controls to maintain a robust risk management framework within the company.
• Create and enhance NPV models that predicts profitability. and use them for Risk management process.
• Launch Champion-Challenger tests for Product parameters, analyze the results and optimize profitability
• Analyze and monitor customer behavior
• Evaluate existing risk models, algorithms, and methodologies, and propose enhancements or improvements to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to effectively communicate risk analysis findings, key metrics, and recommended risk managing strategies to stakeholders and senior management.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide risk-related insights and recommendations for product development, business strategies, and decision-making processes.

What you should have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• 3+ year of experience as a Risk Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical techniques, and data analysis tools.
• Experience in using scoring models to develop portfolio, origination, and underwriting strategies.
• Experience with analytical software and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL
• Experience in scoring model development using Python is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex risk concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
