BI Analyst

Silverbird's ability to provide swift and efficient service is rooted in our technology platform's scale and performance. We're currently expanding our BI practice within the tech team, and we're seeking an experienced BI Analyst. Reporting to the VP Data Engineering, the BI Analyst will play a pivotal role in the broader technical team.‍

What your role will look like:

• Participate in the development and implementation of Metabase and Tableau reporting.
• Collaborate with departments across the company, including product development, acquisition, customer success, and finance, to improve their performance through data-informed decisions.
• Assist in the development of DWH and ETLs/ELTs needed to populate the DWH from various data sources.
• Contribute to improving data quality and reliability.
• Be part of a team of BI Analysts and Data Engineers, contributing to the growth and success of the data team.
• Work on tools and platforms used to deliver data and business insights from banks and payment providers.
• Understand and utilize SQL and BI tools (like Metabase, Tableau) to create comprehensive reports and dashboards that facilitate data-informed decisions across various teams.
• Collaborate closely with teams to understand their data needs, translating these into actionable data-driven solutions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify data quality issues in coordination with the data engineering team.
• Continually learn and adapt to new industry trends and best practices in analytics and business intelligence.
• Help and educate key stakeholders to use self-service analytical tools.

• Tableau, Snowflake DWH, PostgreSQL, AirFlow, DBT, Python, Clickhouse

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an analyst, preferably in a distributed team.
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with BI/visualization tools like Metabase and Tableau.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Proven ability to develop, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Good leadership and collaboration skills.
