Web Developer / Admin (Zendesk)

Develop and maintain the company's Help Centers using various web technologies and platforms, with a focus on Zendesk customization and administration. Ensure the smooth functioning and optimization of the Zendesk knowledge base. Manage and enhance the user experience on the Help Center, ensuring it aligns with the company's brand and provides a seamless browsing experience for visitors. Support internal teams by troubleshooting technical issues, resolving bugs, and providing technical assistance related to Zendesk and web development.

This is a freelance / remote project-base position.

What you'll actually do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the company's website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
  • Customize and administer the Zendesk platform, specifically focusing on maintaining the knowledge base for clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement website updates, landing pages, and online campaigns.
  • Optimize website performance and responsiveness for various devices and browsers.
  • Monitor and analyze website metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure website security and data protection measures are in place, including SSL certificates and regular backups.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the website, Zendesk platform, and other web-based tools.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams on Zendesk and website-related matters.
  • Stay updated on the latest web development trends, best practices, and technologies to propose innovative solutions

Who we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a web developer, with a focus on front-end development and Zendesk administration.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Zendesk platform, including customization and knowledge base management.
  • Familiarity with responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with website optimization techniques to improve performance and user experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with the forex industry or financial markets is a plus, but not required.
