What you'll do
- Build cloud-native infrastructure on GCP using VPC, IAM, GKE, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage
- Containerize with Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes and Helm
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Use Terraform and Ansible as daily infrastructure tools
- Script automation and tooling with Python and Bash
- Monitor systems and resolve issues before they escalate
- Review code, document changes, and improve engineering practices

Qualifications
- Professional Certification: At least one of the following GCP certifications is required: Cloud Architect, Cloud Database Engineer, Cloud Developer, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Network Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with GCP (networking, compute, storage, databases)
- Fluency in Kubernetes and knowledge of cluster internals
- Capability of optimizing Docker for production
- Knowledge of what good CI/CD looks like and how to build it
- Automation with Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash
- Awareness of DevOps principles, not just tools
- Clear communication and ability to work independently
- Capability to overlap with PST time zone
Nice to have
- Understanding of core AWS services and differences from GCP; experience with cloud-to-cloud migrations
- Strong understanding of PKI, certificate management, and secure data exchange (HL7, clinical documents, secure email)
- Healthcare domain knowledge: HL7, Fyre, IAG profiles, clinical documentation workflows
