System Administrator

RoboMarkets is a multi-asset broker offering 7 asset types and more than 12,000 instruments for trading. Our company has grown rapidly in the past years and now provides professional services for institutional and retail clients from Europe.  

Role Overview

Now we are looking for an experienced System Administrator with expertise in MySQL DB.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure performance and security of high-load server and network infrastructure.
• Propose databases enhancements, design effective solutions, execute data migration, replication, and implement new functionality.
  
• Oversee and optimise data backups for reliability and recoverability.
• Maintain databases, monitor and respond to alerts, manage recovery, table space, and upgrades.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems (Debian, Ubuntu).
• 3+ years of experience  with databases for large-scale systems.
• Experience with MySQL (Percona, MariaDB). Familiarity with Postgres, MongoDB will be an advantage
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL.
  
• Experience with Ansible configurations.
• Open-minded, ready for new challenges, and collaborative in a distributed team environment.
