As a Staff Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, scaling, and maintenance of Workato Observability Platform. You will closely work with Data Engineers, CI/CD Engineers, and Workato Developers as a part of a small, flexible team and will have a direct impact on the process of modernization and maturation of the platform including infrastructure architecture decisions.
We are currently seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Observability to join our dynamic team within the Infrastructure department. As the primary contributor, your key focus will involve constructing a robust global distributed observability platform capable of supporting all Workato components seamlessly. You will solve many non-standard tasks related to scaling, reliability and disaster recovery of the services with focus on Tracing and Engineering Events
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience.
- Experience in self-hosted systems related to Logs, Metrics, Exceptions, Traces.
- Knowledge of Grafana stack and Prometheus.
- Experience with Victoria Metrics is a plus.
- Experience in building distributed and scalable systems.
- Linux (skills in troubleshooting and identifying performance bottlenecks).
- Understanding network architecture, troubleshooting and incident resolution skills in Production environment, writing Post-mortems.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes (installation and configuration of operators).
- Basic knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages, such as Python, GOlang, Java.
- Configuration Management Skills, Infrastructure as Code Support.
- Contributions to open source projects is a plus.
