  • Performance & Optimization: Take ownership of platform performance, focusing on database efficiency (custom queries, indexing), implementing robust caching strategies, and optimizing for Core Web Vitals.
  • API Integration Integrate our WordPress/WooCommerce platforms with various third-party services, CRMs, and internal systems via the REST API and custom endpoints.
  • Security & Maintenance Proactively manage platform security, implementing robust security measures, and performing regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for all our WordPress properties.
  • Technical Leadership Provide technical guidance and mentorship on WordPress best practices and architecture. Conduct code reviews for any work done by external contributors or agency partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, including the theme/plugin architecture, the WordPress REST API, action/filter hooks, custom post types, and the block editor (Gutenberg).
