Senior Web Engineer

We are looking for trustworthy and proactive senior engineers with at least 3-4 years of engineering experience.  Engineers can expect to work on many projects at the same time, build and manage diverse projects from different disciplines, formulate and execute strategies, and coordinate with other cross functional partners. Their responsibilities usually include researching and developing new designs and products, development of new products, and cross functional collaboration with other departments.  To be successful as a senior engineer, you should have exceptional foresight, great communication skills, working knowledge of different engineering disciplines and how they relate to one another, and an aptitude for managing risk. Ideally, candidates will have proof of their technical skills and mentorship ability, and an appreciation for the complex nature of the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Write high quality code in Javascript.
• Javascript library knowledge and frameworks (React, Angular, AWS SDK, FingerprintJS).
• Develop/Write unit tests and participate on end-to-end manual testing.
• Communication with Backend microservices.
• Participate on architectural and technological decisions.
• Bring new ideas for product improvements.
• Collaborate closely with other departments from the company.

Requirements:

• BS in engineering required
• +3 years relevant work experience
• Master's degree in engineering a plus
• Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes
• Strategic thinking
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Data analytics skills and experience
• Attention to detail
• Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges
• Organizational, planning, and documentation skills
• Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders
• Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
