We are looking for a Linux Engineer, with experience in IaaC tools and concepts, with a strong Linux system administrator’s background.
The person will joining Linux team to solve the following tasks and goals:
- Installation and troubleshooting of Hashicorp Vault systems with relatively little direct supervision, monitoring and managing the performance and replication of Vault clusters worldwide;
- automate the installation and configuration of systems software using Chef and Ansible;
- troubleshoot Linux server errors and perform standard Unix systems administration tasks;
- automate daily basis tasks with bash and python;
- configure and maintain monitoring utilities;
- configure infrastructure with Terraform;
- Maintain user accounts with Centrify.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field, or compensating years of experience;
- At least 10 years of experience as a UNIX system administrator;
- Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols;
- Shell scripting Windows and Linux;
- Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills;
- IaaC toolset knowledge.
