About project
Team is looking for an experienced backend developer to build specific runners to validate KPI’s and integrate them with EV-2 deployments for a smoother release process and to scale to multiple regions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C#/Ruby code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Design and Implement Geneva synthetic runners
- Help with deployments of runners and product
- Livesite support and investigations for Geneva synthetic runner failures
Requirements
- Strong experience in Ruby and good understanding of its syntax and nuances. Coding/scripting (in Ruby/bash).
- Strong experience in Azure infrastructure operations, DevOps operations, Linux systems
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Professional software development experience with C# will be a plus
- Experience in using automated testing platforms and unit tests (xUnit, nUnit, MSTest) will be a plus
- Experience of working with Geneva Synthetics/ICM/EV-2 will be a plus
- Good written and spoken communication in English
