Responsibilities:
- Design and implement large-scale backend infrastructure and APIs;
- Maintain all aspects of the application lifecycle: from architecture design to mission-critical production operations (you build it, you own it, you run it);
- Engineer solutions that are well-tested, high quality and scalable;
- Contribute to cutting-edge R&D initiatives including service integration with emerging frameworks and platforms.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python 3;
- Experience in building microservices using the asynchronous tooling ecosystem;
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
- Outstanding analytic skills and the ability to clearly articulate approach, process, and results in verbal, graphical, and written form.
Would be a BIG plus:
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch;
- Experience writing well-tested code in business-critical systems;
- Linux shell scripting experience;
- Degree in math, statistics, computer science, or other quantitative fields.
