A Day in the Life of a Senior Frontend Engineer:
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Design and build reusable, adaptable UI components that can be seamlessly integrated across various applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver the best possible UX for our customers, ensuring accessibility (A11y) standards are met.
- Maintain, optimize, and evolve existing features to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team.
Our Tech Stack is:
- Frontend Frameworks: React, Angular (legacy), TypeScript, Styled Components, SCSS, GraphQL, React Query, etc.
- Build Tools: Webpack, Yarn Workspaces.
- Testing: React Testing Library with Jest.
- Design Tools: Figma, Storybook for our design system.
- Project Management: JIRA.
- Communication: Slack, Google Meet.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or other relevant technologies like Backbone.
- Frontend Architecture: Extensive knowledge of frontend architecture principles, including component-based design, state management, and performance optimization.
- Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing).
- Accessibility (A11y): Strong understanding of accessibility standards and how to implement them in web applications
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentorship: A collaborative mindset with the ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor junior developers to improve their skills.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of adapting to new tools, technologies, and processes.
