Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SRE / DevOps / Systems roles running production workloads.
• Proficiency in GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM).
• Experience with Cloudflare (DNS/Proxy, WAF, caching, bot mitigation, origin protection).
• Strong background in virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Terraform / Ansible for IaC.
• Competence in Bash/Python scripting for automation.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and monitoring.
• Experience in incident management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace administration and integration.
• Fluency in English communication.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into development processes.
• Experience managing large user bases and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR).
• Understanding of agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (or equivalent, e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Additional certifications in related fields (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of ~15 servers and ~15 domains, ensuring their stability, performance, and security.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure in GCP.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and reduce downtime.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and Docker-based workloads in production.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to quickly detect and resolve issues.
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting, minimizing impact on users and business operations.
• Apply DevSecOps practices to keep security integrated into the development and release cycle.
• Administer Cloudflare services to ensure availability and security.
• Support compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR) through proper access controls and auditing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify improvements, drive best practices, and optimize infrastructure costs.
