Senior Backend Engineer

Our mission is to revolutionize financial support for people without access to traditional banking services, focusing on urban and semi-urban areas to cover immediate and long-term financial needs.

Your Day to Day

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems.
• Implement and maintain integrations with key external services (KYC, CBS, credit bureau, anti-fraud).
• Develop tests for new features (E2E, integration, unit).
• Optimize performance using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features.
• Work in an agile environment with daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with a remote team to deliver efficient solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• Have experience in backend development.
• Have strong software engineering and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of software architecture and best practices (DDD, TDD).
• Have experience with RESTful APIs, microservices and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Be familiar with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Be familiar with CI/CD practices.
• B1 English level to communicate effectively with international teams.

What Separates the Best from the Rest

• Experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Camunda or similar tools.
• Experience in fintech or financial services.
• Ability to work independently and set technical direction.
