The Role

As a Python Backend Scaling Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in upscaling our data processing pipelines and databases to accommodate a 30x scale-up of our business within the next 6 months. Collaborating with Corsearch’s global team of engineers and brand protection experts, you’ll help enable innovation in brand protection and online content monitoring, unlocking advanced technology solutions for a large number of new and existing clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement new features: Work on adding new functionalities to enhance the product based on client and moderator feedback.
• Optimize existing codebase: Improve the performance and efficiency of the current codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure cohesive and efficient product development.
• Debug and resolve issues: Identify and fix bugs to ensure the product runs smoothly and efficiently.

Essential

• Strong experience with Python and SQL databases. Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, Terraform and AWS is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
