Responsibilities
- Create and lead media and communication strategy
- Drive PR activities including proactive media outreach, media interviews, announcements, award nominations, securing speaking engagements and podcast opportunities for our company spokespeople
- Organize a constant flow of placements with bloggers in various regions (Europe, LatAm, Southeast Asia, America)
- Working closely with Paysenger's teams to support announcements and liaising with external teams for PR campaigns and announcements
- Lead new PR campaigns
- Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists worldwide
- Proactive pitching, reactive media handling and active media monitoring
- Monitoring media on a daily basis, reporting coverage and industry news to the wider team and assist in creation of daily and weekly progress reports
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in agency PR, corporate communications and/or journalism
- Interest and general knowledge of the cryptocurrency/blockchain industry
- Proven media and influencer relationship skills
- Strong interest in being able to drive foundational PR strategies, but also to bring new ideas and tactics to the table
- Experience using media monitoring tools to create daily/weekly reports for organizational leadership
- Attention to detail with superior organizational and communication skills
- Excellent project and time management skills; able to prioritize and work under pressure
- Native or fluent English speaker and writer
