As we continue to grow and launch new products and services, our exposure to various security threats increases as well. We are currently looking for an Information Security Engineer (SOC Engineer) who will be responsible for maintaining and developing our security monitoring capabilities.
We are not fond of bureaucracy and legacy code and are always open for fresh ideas.
Responsibilities
- Working with cybersecurity monitoring, establishing workflows for handling security incidents
- Managing data sources for security monitoring
- Participating in internal projects for implementing and maintaining cybersecurity tools
- Developing cybersecurity processes within the designated area of responsibility
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in in-house security
- Strong understanding of security processes and key security domains
- Knowledge of *NIX systems, core network protocols, and essential cybersecurity/IT tools
- Experience in setting up cybersecurity monitoring and handling security incidents
- Basic knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity regulations
- Understanding of cloud network security principles and mechanisms (AWS preferred)
Preferred
- Background in system administration, SOC, DevOps, or networking (strong overall engineering expertise)
