We are looking for a Data Engineer (Middle+/Senior) who would take on tasks related to building the architecture, implementing, and supporting the data management infrastructure of the Launchbay.digital investment platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design from scratch, implementation, and maintenance of startup-friendly data management infrastructure (simple, scalable, easy-to-implement and support solutions, low code solutions, low cost or open source, etc.)
- Automatic or semi-automatic collecting, storing, and transforming of unstructured data from various dynamic sources (files, APIs, emails, websites, etc.).
- Data architecture design and implementation (with possible AI/ML support).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer for no less than 3 years, preferably in the investment funds or Fintech industry
- Experience in designing and implementing data management infrastructure from scratch (using modern apps and data platforms, cloud-based solutions)
- Deep knowledge of efficient algorithms and data structures
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as: Python, Java, Scala, R, etc.
- Strong experience in ETL
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured dataset
- Autonomy, ability to find the best solution to a problem;
- Initiative, implementation of new solutions;
- Ideally, experience in data analysis or be a data scientist, experience working with data science libraries and frameworks, AI/ML experience.
