Middle Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join our team. You will work on an innovative Real-Time Collaboration Platform including Audio / Video calls, Conferencing, and Chat as well as multiple other services.

What You Will Do…

  • Identifying and escalating issues, questions, and bugs as early as possible
  • Planning, communicating with developers, and documenting expected testing activities and ways to implement tests in the system
  • Providing manual testing of web and native mobile applications (Android and iOS)
  • Perform regression testing and other release-related QA activities
  • Providing debugging (web and native mobile applications) and reporting on all test activities
  • Designing and creating test documentation, including test cases, checklists, test runs, test plans, and bug reports
  • Preparing test environments and test stands
  • Reproducing, troubleshooting, and assisting Support/other DEVs/QAs with issues
  • Taking an active part in Kanban meetings, using Kanban/DevOps practices and techniques
  • Using, analyzing, maintaining, and improving QA processes and practices, as well as implementing new practices that will optimize the delivery of work items on all stages

What You Will Bring…

  • 3+ years of experience in software QA (web and native mobile)
  • Solid understanding of test design techniques and types of testing
  • Good knowledge of QA methodologies and processes
  • Experience testing APIs
  • Knowledge of HTTP protocol and web application architecture (Front End, Back End)
  • Linux user (confident level)
  • Intermediate or higher level of English

Bonus Points If You…

  • Have experience with a programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript)
  • Have experience with cloud solutions (AWS)
  • Possess knowledge of network technologies. What OSI model is. How DNS, DHCP, etc. work
  • Have experience with VoIP and/or telephony systems (e.g., SIP, RTP, WebRTC, IP PBX)
  • Worked with TestRail, JIRA
  • Have a background in test automation with WebdriverIO
  • Have experience with Git
