We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our Analytics Infrastructure team. Our team is responsible for collecting, processing, and storing all company data that drives business decisions and product analytics. You will participate in developing a high-load analytical platform, work with Big Data, and build scalable solutions for data storage and processing. Your work will directly impact key business decisions and product development.
Your Role:
- Architectural design and development of our data warehouse (DWH).
- Designing and optimizing ETL processes for large data volumes.
- Migrating and optimizing our analytical infrastructure to modern DWH solutions.
- Working with analytical databases (Exasol, StarRocks, etc.).
- Developing and maintaining data marts for business intelligence.
- Optimizing performance for analytical queries.
- Integrating with external data sources (including payment gateways).
- Managing data lifecycle in the warehouse.
- Ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Setting up monitoring and alerting for analytical infrastructure.
- Mentoring and knowledge sharing with less experienced team members.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and DWH architecture.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and experience optimizing complex analytical queries.
- Experience with analytical databases (Exasol, ClickHouse, StarRocks, or similar).
- Knowledge of modern cloud analytics solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow.
- Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong Python skills for data processing tasks.
- Understanding of data warehouse architectural principles.
- Experience working with large data volumes (10+ TB).
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
Additional:
- Experience migrating between different analytical platforms.
- Knowledge of S3-compatible storage and related technologies.
- Experience with stream data processing.
- Experience in fintech or crypto industry.
- Familiarity with project management fundamentals (Jira, Scrum) as a team leader.
- Experience with ML/AI systems for analytics.
- Understanding of economics and finance fundamentals.
