Junior Python Developer

We are looking for a Junior Python Developer to join the team that develops plugins for SIEM services and integrates them with Veeam products such as Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam One.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing and supporting plugins for SIEM services
• Performing troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigation
• Proactively staying up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Veeam’s products and the underlying technologies
• Contributing to documentation for Veeam’s knowledge base

What we expect from you:

• A university degree in a technical field
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Unix OS and systems administration
• Understanding of the principles of software design and development
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Basic knowledge of Syslog and RESTful APIs
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and explain technical information
• English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams

Will be an advantage:

• Experience with any SIEM services such as Splunk SOAR, Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Cisco XDR, Crowdstrike Falcon, etc.
• Experience with Git
• Beginner knowledge of any programming languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, etc.
