Junior / Middle Security Engineer

We’re looking for a Junior Security Engineer to join our team. You’ll work closely with an external security expert and our DevOps engineers to strengthen the security of our infrastructure and services. This is a hands-on role with strong mentorship and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to securing our AWS-based infrastructure
• Support monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, ELK, Sentry)
• Help implement and maintain security tools like Vault, WAF, and vulnerability scanners
• Review Kubernetes and Terraform configurations for security best practices
• Learn and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) from a security perspective
• Participate in internal audits, reviews, and incident response
• Gradually develop an understanding of security in a microservice-based architecture

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of information security principles
• Understanding of Linux systems, networking, and web application fundamentals
• Strong English (both written and spoken)
• Willingness to learn from a mentor and take ownership of tasks
• Curiosity about crypto / Web3 (professional experience not required, but interest matters)

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or Vault
• Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Familiarity with microservice architecture principles
