Junior+/Middle Backend Developer (Node.Js)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Supabase
• Develop and maintain Edge functions APIs
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize and tune database performance to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the application and its data.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the backend architecture.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working with backend: Node.js, Nest.js
• Proven experience as a backend developer, specifically with Supabase and PostgreSQL.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with SQL and database schema design.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Understanding of server-side security (RLS) and data protection measures.
• Experience with cloud services and deployment strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work effectively under schedule pressure to fix bugs, review code, write, test new code, and diagnose production issues.
