Integration Developer

The Integrations Engineer role will focus primarily on designing and implementing scalable system integration solutions and data pipelines. This will include building the ETL/ELT processes, processes automation, and orchestration that will drive customers’ Enterprise Architecture strategies from a systems integration perspective.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver API and Messaging-based (PubSub) integration solutions with internal and external SaaS business systems and other custom and cloud-based solutions.
• Administer and troubleshoot current integrations
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional development, business, and Engineering teams to design integrated solutions that are extensible, reusable, and secure.
• Ensure quality through the unit and functional test implementation and execution.
• Contribute to architectural design, automated testing, continuous integration, and build management.
• Develop prototypes to demonstrate the merits of a proposed solution.
• Work effectively within a team environment to implement projects in a timely manner.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and functional demos.
• Ability to act as a Primary point of contact when required for issue resolution as it relates to Production-level issues.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and coordinating resources needed for problem resolution.
• Manage day-to-day activities and communicate progress with the project team and customers.
• Actively seek solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation to identify trends and escalate to appropriate channels Including improvement suggestions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with 3rd party software and hardware vendors where applicable
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the provided solutions.
• Support Sales and Business Partners with pre-sales and building technical demos.
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience for 3+ years
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience or exposure to Integration Design and Patterns using API, Webhooks, and PubSub.
• Knowledge of modern API architectures.
• Experience in developing web services based on SOAP and REST.
• Experience building integrations with SaaS business apps such as Salesforce, Netsuite, relational databases, and REST & SOAP.
• Experience with any of the scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or JS.
• Strong SQL knowledge, and experience working with data.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts.
• Experience working with middleware and iPaaS solutions such as Workato, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica is a plus.
• Experience working with PubSub platforms like Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Azure PubSub, or Amazon SNS is a plus.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Solid understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework
• Team player, with a great work ethic and a quick learner
