As the Head of Data, you will be responsible for developing and executing the companyβs data strategy. You will lead a team of data professionals, oversee data governance, analytics, and engineering, and work cross-functionally to embed data-driven decision-making within the organization. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, scalability, and innovation while driving business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and manage 4+ data teams.
- Oversee data architecture, governance, security, and compliance to ensure data quality and regulatory adherence.
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making across all departments.
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data warehouses, and pipelines.
- Implement machine learning and AI-driven solutions to enhance product feature and improve business performance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define key metrics, analytics priorities, and reporting frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to monetize data and generate business insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or engineering, with at least 3 years in a tech leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering architecture, data modeling, data governance, and big data technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex data insights into business strategies.
- English level B2+
- Knowledge in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is considered a plus!
