Entry Level Software Engineer

What you will do:

• Contribute to the design design, development, and deployment of software solutions using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core

• Learn to develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, under the guidance of experienced engineers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions

• Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture

• Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices (e.g. code reviews)

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing

• Work in a hybrid office environment (minimum 3 days at the office)

What you will need:

• Experience with .NET technologies, such as C# and ASP.NET, gained through coursework, projects, or internships

• Understanding of how to develop new backend services in an object-oriented programming language with a preference for C#

• Some familiarity with relational databases (SQL)

• Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)

• Familiarity with testing frameworks for unit and integration testing

• Basic knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., OWASP, static code analysis tools)

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience

• Be fluent in English. Portuguese language skills are a plus

• Have the ability to travel to other development centres for training or temporary job assignments
