Development Director

We are looking for a Development Director with experience managing large IT products who is ready to take on responsibility for the results of our flagship games. With a strong vision for the product, you will lead key development processes and facilitate the professional growth of a large team of industry experts.

Tasks

The director's task is to effectively manage teams in conditions of high production rates and change. You'll be involved in the entire game production process, from pre-production and artistic work to creating engineering perfection. What worked a year ago may not be consistent with the product strategy today, and the director should see that and make the necessary improvements.
In addition, a key responsibility is to create and develop teams. In this sense, directors at Playrix have "free rein" and almost unlimited opportunities to build a team.

Requirements

  • Experience managing a cross-functional development team of 100+ people in a product IT company or in game development
  • Strong people management skills: hiring, training and developing a product management team
  • Experience in defining and implementing product development strategies
  • Development and implementation of production processes
  • Technical background: technical education, experience as a developer/QA
  • Experience in managing and developing managers, working with teams through team leads
