We are a fintech startup incorporated in the US and headquartered in Amsterdam.

Our solutions allow users to unlock powerful insights from open-source data, to safeguard themselves against payment fraud and fake account creation, and improve their organization’s credit score. We deliver structured data from over 140 open sources including, social media, corporate sources, the Dark Web.  

From individual pieces of input data such as an email address or phone number, we elaborate a comprehensive digital footprint in real time, so that suspicious patterns can be identified and crucial data for elevating credit scores gained.

We have already developed an MVP and raised a pre-seed round. We are currently conducting pilot projects and preparing our first product for market expansion.

We are looking for a talented leader to spearhead product development, establish a technological vision, deploy infrastructure that’s compliant with GDPR and SOC 2, and help us to bring leading-edge technology to the market, fostering the evolution of fraud prevention and credit scoring markets.

You will oversee:

• Technological Strategy and Innovation. Establishing and executing the company's technological vision. Staying abreast of trending or emerging technologies, assessing their relevance to the business, and recommending innovative solutions that provide a competitive edge.
• Technical Architecture and Infrastructure. Designing technical architecture and infrastructure compliant with GDPR and SOC 2 standards, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Evaluating and adopting suitable technologies that streamline operations and enhance performance.
• Product Development. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the development of tech products that are aligned with business goals.
• Research and Development (R&D). Leading R&D endeavors, experimenting with new technologies, and fostering a culture of creativity and exploration within the team.
• Cybersecurity and Risk Management. Implementing robust cybersecurity measures across the organization's digital landscape. Developing and introducing policies to ensure compliance with GDPR and SOC 2 standards, mitigate risks and protect personal data.
• Strategic Partnerships. Forging strategic partnerships with tech vendors, startups, and industry leaders. Leading the adoption of leading-edge solutions and the exploration of new business opportunities.
• Team Leadership and Management. Leading and managing the technical team. Providing the necessary guidance, mentorship, and resources to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Budgeting and Resource Allocation. Preparing and managing budgets, and allocating resources appropriately to streamline rapid product development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration. Collaborating with other executives, such as the CPO and CEO, to gain a full understanding of business goals and ensure product alignment.
  

We expect you to:

• Have experience in fintech and/or fraud prevention
• Have experience in deploying AWS infrastructure compliant with GDPR and SOC 2
• Have an in-depth understanding of various programming languages, such as Python and Java, and be familiar with zero code platforms such as Bubble and Xano
• Be experienced in data science with an emphasis on the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets for uncovering key patterns and trends
• Possess strong analytical and critical thinking
• Be interested in trends and new approaches, and able to adapt
• Speak fluent English
