Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer, with experience in the USA e-commerce market, who oversee all aspects of the marketing strategy, digital, brand, and creatives.

The CMO will shape company’s marketing strategy, focusing on building product’s USP, strength in channel marketing, building cohesive marketing campaigns across all consumer touchpoints

What you will do in this role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy (market & audience research, CustDev, efficient communication channels identification, strategic direction, KPI's, resources, potential risks, time frame)
  • Develop, lead, and evolve all aspects of marketing (digital performance, content, CRM & loyalty, PR, and growth)
  • Continually improve and optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing spend to ensure marketing activities deliver successful ROI and brand-building metrics
  • Use data-driven approach developing strategies & plans
  • Based on agreed roadmap set up clear metrics & KPI’s, ensuring marketing plan implementation, constantly track performance.
  • Perform CustDev and work with hypothesis: test, analyse, scale
  • Build & lead marketing team (in-house & outsource), set tasks and track completion
  • Diversify company's profile by introducing and developing new products
  • Ensure strategy sustainability taking into consideration possible external influences

The ideal candidate will possess

  • 3+ years as a marketing leader
  • 3+ experience with consumer-facing brands/products in e-commerce market
  • Proven success growing and evolving brand/product in the US market (1+ year)
  • Deep understanding and expertise in digital marketing; strong digital knowledge and understanding of the evolving media landscape
  • Fluency with metrics-based assessment of digital performance
  • Experience with multiple advertising channels (FB, e-mail, CRM, video, SMM, influencers, telemarketing, Youtube, quiz-marketing)
  • Strong leadership skills, experience building and developing teams
  • Data-driven approach in taking decisions, analytical mindset
  • Foreign languages: English (C1), Russian – (C1) – communication with team is in Russian
  • Experience with B2C subscription model is preferred
  • Higher education in marketing or professional training
  • Ability to demonstrate portfolio, actual cases
